Moreover, she is a diplomate of the European College for Veterinary Dermatology (ECVD, 2002).<\/p>\n

Dr. Ordeix has been member of several scientific committees of national and international meetings. Currently, she is a member of the Credentials Committee of the ECVD and an Associated Editor of\u00a0Cl\u00ednica de Peque\u00f1os Animales of Asociaci\u00f3n de Veterinarios Espa\u00f1oles Especialistas en Peque\u00f1os Animales<\/em>\u00a0(AVEPA).[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab gutter_size=”2″ column_padding=”2″ title=”Research Projects” tab_id=”1758111921-2-16″][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=”815400″]Her research focusses mainly on leishmaniosis and she has coordinated several research projects such as:
\n\u2013 Clinical, dermatopathological and immunopatholigical characterization of ischemic dermatopathy in dogs with leishmaniosis (European Society of Veterinary Dermatology research grant 2024).
\n\u2013 Levels of allergen-specific IgE in dogs with moderate to severe leishmaniosis (European Society of Veterinary Dermatology research grant 2019).
\n\u2013 Improving the diagnosis of canine leishmaniosis: real time PCR on stained smears and filter paper. (European Society of Veterinary Dermatology research grant 2016).
\n\u2013 Characterization of Toll-like receptors and immune cytokines in cutaneous lesions from dogs with different stages of leishmaniosis and immuneresponses. (European Society of Veterinary Dermatology research grant 2012).
\n\u2013 Moreover, she participates in a research group on infectious and inflammatory diseases in companion animals founded by la\u00a0Generalitat de Catalunya<\/em>\u00a0as well as in other competitive national projects.<\/p>\n

Dr. Ordeix has participated in research and technology transfer contracts of relevance with companies and\/or administrations.<\/p>\n

She has an important teaching experience at graduate (clinical instructor and teaching in veterinary dermatology at UAB) and post-graduate level (by supervising several students in clinical internship, residents in dermatology and continuing education to general practitioners).[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab gutter_size=”2″ column_padding=”2″ title=”Publications” tab_id=”1758112220155-3-0″][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=”352386″]Dr. Ordeix has produced about 50 peer-reviewed scientific publications in well recognized journals with a h index of 15.
